What is Illumination Festival?

We are a Christian music festival in Darke County, OH bringing the best Christian music and activities to the area!

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to bring churched and/or un-churched people to a place where they can enjoy themselves in a Christian atmosphere while beginning or furthering their relationship with Christ.

Activities

Day One | Saturday, September 20, 2014



Youth Event
4:00pm - High Ropes and Rock Climbing Wall open
5:30 pm - Doors open at the Youth Building for AMPLIFIED
6:00 pm - AMPLIFIED Worship Event, High Ropes and Rock Climbing Wall close
7:30 pm - High Ropes and Climbing Wall reopen
8:30pm - DJ Dance party in Youth Building
10:00pm - Event ends, High Ropes and Rock Climbing Wall close

Illumination Day One featuring AMPLIFIED is a dynamic worship experience for youth in grades 7 through 12 that are interested in establishing and strengthening a walk with Christ. Fellowship, energetic praise and worship music and speakers who are relevant to the issues you face are just a few of the exciting experiences you will find at Day One!

Something new at Day One this year is Vehicle for Change, Inc (website) from Hillard, Ohio is bringing a High Ropes course,
Dual Zip Lines, and a Rock Climbing Wall that will be open for use from 4:30pm until 9:30pm. Also a big thank you to the Miami Valley District for helping fund this awesome event!
5k Run in the Darke
Join us at 8:30pm for a Good Time Races 5K run around the fairgrounds after dark.

3:00 pm — Darke County Fairgrounds open for Campers

The Darke County Fairgrounds is a 185-acre facility that is largely wooded, with restroom and shower facilities available. The facility has a self-registration system in place. Camping is on a first come-first serve basis. Preregistrations are accepted, but not required. Preregistration is available by calling 937-548-5044 prior to arrival.

Camping is free for units not using electric or utilities.
Camping is $20.00 per unit per night for use of electric and utilities while camping.

CAMP FIRE NOTICE: Camp fires are allowed, but you must provide your own elevated fire pit.
In the event of a burn ban (due to drought,) ALL camp fires will be strictly NOT ALLOWED.

If camping isn't your style, Darke County offers a large variety of hotels and other accommodations to suit your needs.

10:00 am - Fairground gates open

Join us in the Spiritual Life Center for Worship and a message, starting at 10:30am.
Greenville local EUM Church is providing the worship with Matt Haupt giving the message.

Coming back again this year, FISH Food Pantry will be accepting non-perishable food items for the kickoff of their Feed Darke County event.
Bring your non-perishable food items to donate to FISH at the main entrance gate.
A donation is not required for fairgrounds entry, but is encouraged.

12:00 pm - Concessions open, Midway activities begin

Throughout the day, we have various activities going on on the fairgrounds.
Returning to the midway are our inflatables, but there are also a lot of new and exciting midway activities including Red Dragon Laser Tag,
Vehicle for Change's Rock Climbing Wall, and Vehicle for Change's Bully Buster Bus.

Purchase a wristband from the ticket Will Call table under the grandstand for $5 that allows unlimited games/rides.

VIP tickets include seating directly in front of the stage.

Grandstand seating and track standing are first come, first serve.

Persons 3 years of age and older are required to purchase a ticket. Persons under 3 years of age are admitted free providing they sit on the lap of a paying ticket holder.

All tickets ordered online have a small processing fee.

On the day of the show, we will have an area setup where you can purchase concert tickets or pickup presale tickets you have not yet received.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL; NO REFUNDS.

Illumination Ministries, Inc has the right to refuse the display or sale of items the ministry deems inappropriate. If you have a questions about the sale of any item, please contact Daryl Riffle at 937-548-5044.

This application does not constitute an agreement of any kind nor does it represent an offer of space. We reserve the right to assign spaces from our waiting list to maintain a wide variety of different food, products, types of businesses, etc. If a site (space) is not assigned to you in 2014, a new request should be submitted after September 21, 2014 for the 2015 Event. It is your responsibility to ensure that your application is current. Existing Vendors have first right of refusal for their location.
